Price and cost transparency

One verified price. External costs only after review.

NOBILITH separates the approved gemstone price from later costs that depend on the chosen service and destination. An estimate is never presented as a final total.

Primary-sale price

The visible price comes directly from the independently approved Gemstone Master Record and is denominated in CHF.

  • One source for Discover, homepage and dossier
  • Price changes use the controlled release process
  • Reservation is bound to one specific gemstone

Private Market

The buyer pays the agreed trade price. On a successful sale, the seller pays a 3% commission including Swiss VAT.

  • No additional marketplace fee for the buyer
  • Commission is deducted through the regulated settlement flow
  • Gross commission, included VAT and seller payout are recorded separately

Auctions

Opening price, reserve, bid increment and any buyer premium are defined for each approved auction.

  • Auction terms shown before participation
  • Bidding limit constrains individual participation
  • The hammer price is exclusive of Swiss VAT while the gemstone remains in the bonded warehouse; import VAT applies only on delivery within Switzerland and is forwarded to customs for you as a pass-through item
  • Every lot carries a symbol: gold hexagon = property of NOBILITH, gemstone outline = consigned (agency sale)
  • Settlement starts only after the auction closes with a winning bid

Partner auctions

Following a successful partner auction sale, NOBILITH receives 10% of the winning bid for its auction service.

  • Deducted from seller proceeds; any buyer premium remains separate
  • CHF 100,000 winning bid: CHF 10,000 commission and CHF 90,000 seller payout – example for consignors domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein (commission including 8.1% VAT); with confirmed domicile abroad without Swiss VAT, payout also CHF 90,000
  • No commission without a successful sale; external review, custody and logistics costs remain separate

Physical withdrawal

VAT, customs, insurance, custody and value logistics depend on destination, status and an actual provider quote.

  • Individual costs supported by provider evidence, not a flat estimate
  • Client confirmation before payment request
  • Handover only after payment and independent second approval
Transparent boundary

What is not yet binding

Specific charges from banks, custodians, insurers, authorities and freight providers will be published only after provider selection, jurisdiction review and a reliable quote. Until then, NOBILITH does not display invented tariffs.
