Loupe clean
Loupe clean means that no inclusions are visible even under a 10× loupe. For diamonds this corresponds to the grades FL and IF. In coloured gemstones a loupe-clean stone is exceptional – in emerald so rare that laboratories examine its authenticity with particular care.
